Les Noisettes is a traditional Haute
Savoie chalet. It was built in 1999 on a sunny plateau a
few minutes above the village of Le Grand Bornand. It has
stunning views of the surrounding mountains in all directions

Le Grand Bornand
Le Grand Bornand is an easy 1 hour drive from Geneva and
is a truly all year round resort, bursting with Haute Savoie
character and with a huge range of activities to suit everyone.
The village holds a traditional market every Wednesday morning
and, being in the heart of the Reblochon cheese region,
local farms offer cheese-making demonstrations.
In winter the village has 82km of family
friendly downhill skiing and around 60km of stunning cross-country
trails. A further 132 km of downhill skiing is available
in neighbouring La Clusaz, 10 minutes away by car or regular
ski bus. The local slopes are 2 km or 5 minutes away by car or
free skibus, which stops 100m away, at the bottom of the road
In summer the range of activities is extensive.
There are beautiful walks, to suit all ages and abilities
and a good network of cycle routes for both mountain and
road cyclists. Some ski lifts operate throughout the summer
to transport walkers, cyclists and their bikes to the higher
trails and, once every two years, the Tour de France passes
through the village - and right past the balcony of Les
Noisettes! There is also tennis, golf, paragliding, climbing
(including Via Ferrata), trampolining and horse riding.
The village has a new open-air swimming pool with slides
and a children's play area.
Annecy
For a change of scenery, take the 30-minute drive down to
Annecy and its beautiful lake. You can take a boat trip,
go for a swim or just admire it from the shore. The old
town is brimming with character and restaurants line the
picturesque canals.
